You do know I'm asking about Windows XP 64-Bit and not Windows 8. I'm not aware of Dell having any Audio chips of their own, so it's most likely just some random Realtek/CMedia chip. The rest are just dell-branded components from other manufacturers that use fairly standard drivers. Drivers for all the components should be available. There should be no issues running Windows 8 on that PC. I saw that Dell has drivers but I wanted to make sure that they worked on Optiplex 760 USFF before investing more time. I tried Windows XP 64Bit on a different PC and it worked but the only thing missing was the audio drivers. I just want to be able to use more ram in a Windows XP environment. I used to run Windows XP 圆4 in the mid 2000s so I've got a pretty good idea of how the support stands. Sorry, I was addressing the OP and wondering what he's planning to use the PC for. If you are talking to me my case is that not all desktops and laptops have 64bit drivers some only have 32bit.
